Bio

Rebecca was no stranger to music growing up in Newark, DE. Although her immediate family didn't absorb themselves into music, it's still in her blood. Her grandmother new the love of music in the classical realm and shared her passion telling stories of studying the harp in Paris, filling up concert halls, being one of the first ensembles to play at Radio City Music Hall. Rebecca's passion for music is instilled in her love of listening and feeling the music come alive. A "catharsis of sorts" that have a knack for revealing her innermost thoughts before she is even aware of what she is writing about. Almost a stream of consciousness that brings clarity up front and center - directly to her audience.

Rebecca Lynne played for the “Deep South Harvest Festival.” Sharing the stage with Tift Merritt.
Her song, “Amuse Me” can be heard on Deep South Records’ “Deep 3” compilation CD.
Rebecca shared her original song, “Incomplete” as well as her upbeat rendition of “Amazing Grace” for a compilation CD called “Home Grown Helpin” which featured local NC area artists.
Rebecca has also joined talented musicians from all over to sing in the “Tori Amos Tribute Show” in Carborro, NC for the last 3 years.
Her first CD, "Everyday Blues" was completed for the Night of Dreams Showcase, held at the BTI center in downtown Raleigh, November 5th and 6th of 2004.
In 2005, Rebecca and her band played at the RBC Center for the National Guard right before Hootie and the Blowfish.
