Rebecca's new self-titled album was produced by Johnny Mulhair of Clovis New Mexico. Mulhair made his mark by producing Lee Ann Rimes' debut album, Blue. Rebecca's influences are Loretta Lynn and Garth Brooks because they dared to be original. She has been compared to Faith Hill and Sara Evans but prefers do do her own thing rather than sound like someone else! Albuquerque Journal music reviewer Nathalie Baret said; " Spanning a broad contemporary country music base, Owen whis easily into edgy, country/rock tunes and mid-tempo shuffles as she sweeps into pop influenced songs, Americana-rooted compositions and traditional hushed country ballads.
