This demo I have been selling and donating the proceeds to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Rebecca Reeves is an 19 year old singer and songwriter born in Calgary, Alberta. Rebecca’s family moved to Caledon East 12 years ago. She has been singing for ten years and playing guitar for almost two years at the Moura Music Studio in Bolton, Ontario. She spent 2 and ahalf years in the Regional Arts program at Mayfield Secondary School’s Vocal program where she not only was in the music program but also attended the school’s choir as well as the Jazz choir. She graduated from Robert F. Hall Secondary School where she also took part in the school’s choir while attending. Rebecca now continues to take vocal, guitar and piano at Broadway Music in Orangeville Ontario. She has always turned to music as an escape or for comfort. Music is her way of expressing her emotions through song. She loves to write and began writing her own music at the age of ten, she prefers to write her own music because she feels that music should be something that is of personal value and is something you are able to put your whole heart into. She is very outgoing and full of energy and with her stubborn and determined personality she has the drive to do anything she sets her mind to.
She has performed events for the Perfectly Pampered Princess and the BIA of Orangeville Ontario for two years. And has continuously been involved in all the local events over the past couple years. Rebecca was in the Top 20 in Ottawa’s Kiwanis Idol of 2010. Rebecca has taken part in many competitions over the past couple years including Caledon Idol Winner 2009, Headwaters Shining Star Winner of 2009 and also was asked to perform at the Headwater’s Business Excellence Awards Ceremony in 2010. She loves to perform and share her musical talent with other people. She enjoys getting up in front of people and performing her work.
Rebecca recorded her first album called, ‘Break me down’ which are all original compositions mostly all based on true stories. This album demonstrates the struggles of teenage love and real experiences and lessons learned through heartbreak and the search for the meaning of real love. This album is being sold for 5 dollars each and every penny is donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. She chose this charity because it has touched her family in many ways and in turn it has affected her life. When people hear her music she wants them to be able to relate to the songs and create an inspiration to never give up on anything, not dreams, life or love just like her idols have inspired her. She believes that music and song enrich our lives and loves the thought that her singing can touch people and make them happy.
She is currently working with a producer this summer from Nova Scotia on an official demo EP release.
