-2011, Rebecca recorded and performed “Winter is Over” with Cathy Hardy.

-2012, “Dreamers Travellers”, a song written by Rebecca and her sister was featured in the documentary “Family Portrait in Black and White” which won the title “Best Canadian Documentary” at Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival and was nominated for other awards at festivals including Sundance Film Festival.

-2015, Rebecca performed at the Chutzpah Festival in Paul Alexander’s “Remembering Steel Skies Raining Tears” a beautiful piece written to remember the Holocaust. She sang alongside the Borealis String Quartet, Eric Wilson and her father, Boris Sichon.

-December 2016, Rebecca's first single “Let Me Go”, released on iTunes, Apple Music, Tidal, Spotify and much more!

-February 2018, “Sail” was released on all platforms!

-2017, 2018 and 2019, she participated in Mission Secondary School’s Musical theatre productions of “Hairspray”, “Annie Jr” and “Grease” where Rebecca Sichon landed the main roles of Annie and Betty Rizzo.

- July 2017 and 2019, she had the amazing opportunity to perform at Mission’s very own Folk Festival, landing a spot on the Vancouver Sun’s newspaper in 2017.

-August 2019, "Translucence”, Rebecca's first EP was released.

-September 2019, “Circles”, “For You” released on every social platform!

-November 2019, "MOVEMENT", A single with the local producer Jacob Hoskins was released.



Rebecca Sichon is a multi-talented young emerging artist breaking out in the music scene. The alternative singer/songwriter grew up in a musical family, kickstarting her passion for music and performing at the young age of five. 

At only 18, Rebecca has already released four singles and one EP “Translucence”, and is eager to share her newest release “MOVEMENT” with the incredible, local producer Jacob Hoskins in mid November 2019. 

From festivals to coffee shops to the recording studio, the hard-working artist truly does it all. At an incredible number of over 60 songs written, she continues to expand her love for music each day, expressed not only with vocals but with the piano, guitar and ukulele. Rebecca Sichon is filled with big dreams and crazy goals, with her musical career only at it’s beginning...
