Bio

What sets us apart? I guess we have a little more self confidence than some and we truely care about the quality and integrity of our music. While we have received plenty of postive press locally, we don't stop trying to move into some bigger shoes. Even if most everybody's shoes have already been filled.

Rebekah comes from a musical family. Her father taught her guitar as a teenager. Being a huge Led Zeppelin fan at that time she immediatly learned Stairway to Heaven. Which was most probably completely incorrect. But it didn't stop there, she went on to learn most of Led Zeppelin I. But on her way to II her boyfriend became jealous because she was learning the songs faster than him. So she broke up with him after moving to Florida and became an exotic dancer. It's really too hot to do anything else in Florida anyway. Tired of large men with small minds but plenty of singles she turned to a life of music. Mostly due to a lack of any other marketable skills, but also to perge some undeniable calling as a songwriter. Being an independant spirit she performed strictly solo to avoid any unpleasant band related controversy.

But as fate would have it she met Josh Touchton. A drummer who had just moved from Nashville and was looking for musicians to play with in the area. While working in 2001 on her CD Here In The Real World, she invited him to play drums on the recording. They are both Taurus'. And you know once a Taurus starts something they usually keep with it. So, they're still playing together and enjoyably so.

They then brought Rob Pastore into the mix. A guitar player and Picses from New York, Rob was reflecting on his life while recovering from a motorcyle accident. He decided it was time to leave New York for somewhere a little warmer. Fate again stepped in and brought him to a bar that Rebekah was playing at. They started talking and before long Rob was in the band.

Joe Culver was a close friend of Rob's through music, motorcyles and close birthdays. Joe had been performing for years in a variety of musical styles and settings. We needed a bass player so we stole him and keep him tightly under wraps.

Our personal influences range from punk to folk, metal to gospel. These days we look for good songwriting and sweet riffs. We are always open to new styles and individualism through music. We're currently under constuction of our newest CD, More. Which will be released in the early fall of 2005.
