When you start reading this text, you’re probably thinking: "I hope it's short and straight to the point because I have a million things to do, to read and to listen". Well, the entire world has that same mindset. We are in the era of optimizing all messages, the era of comprehending everything in few words. So, why not do this with melodies too? This is it, Rebobina band! Rebobina means rewind in Portuguese.
Raphael Zarella, the vocalist of the band, casually stated the phrase “Short songs for a short life” in the band’s first show. Coincidently it turned out to be the motto of the band, culminating in their first album: "Sim, Eu Minto" (“Yes, I Lie”). Nine songs, seventeen minutes of melodies and lyrics that do not repeat.
The album “Sim, Eu Minto” was released in the Internet and has been downloaded by thousands. The mastering of the album was made in Chicago. This cultural globalization adds to the talent of the band in conquering people around the world. The upcoming album is scheduled to release in August 2014.
The job now resides in your hands to define the music of Rebobina, in which everything is fast and straight to the point. After all, if you want to listen to it again, rewind!
