receivers is the brainchild of Joseph Donovan (ex-member of marlowe and the dears, producer of the Sam Roberts Band, the dears and the High Dials, Mountain City Studio) and some of his closest pals, Emilie, Howard, Ramsay and Sylvan. The group came together mainly because they got along so well, but also because of their shared affinity for heartwrenching music, high fives, hugs, and, of course, bears.
