Red Comet 3

Red Comet 3 is the retro electronic project of Austin musician Patrick Keller. He has self released 5 eps "Triangular", "Diamond Age", "Deep Adventure", "Summer Sketches '15" and most recently "Chromium Trax", a full length album entitled "Vibe Killer", and digital singles "Sunstrip Drive",  "Forever Cruising Midnight Highway" and "Don't Let Me Tear Us Apart.

Red Comet 3's ep "Bring Your Own Controller" is currently available via UK label 30th Floor Records, his second full length album "Hexagon Computer Vision Technologies" was released via Austin tape label Ghostspace Records in January,2016.

Drawing influence from the electronic, psychedelic, and synthesizer music of the late 70's and 80's to create a unique form of electronic psychedelia.

Red Comet 3 has had the pleasure of performing throughout Austin and Texas, as part of 101x's Homegrown Live Series, San Antonio's Electronic Exhibition, $3 Shows, Synapsis and many more, he has also performed or collaborated with local collectives Weird Destiny Productions, Anon Magazine, Exploded Drawing and more.

Red Comet 3's music has been featured on Dallas radio station Deep Ellum On Air, retro music blogs and YouTube channels  Wave TV and Neon Vice and influential Australian radio program Synthetix Sundays. He has been featured on many compilations including those by Weird Destiny Productions, the Austin Museum of Digital Art, New Horizons Records and Karate King Records.

Through the use of live analog video synthesis, and an array of lighting effects Red Comet 3 shows are a unique and immersive event, equal parts heady psychedelia and danceable rhythms. The end goal of which is ultimately to have fun and make friends.
