Red Inc.

Red Inc. is an alternative metal band from Rochester, NY formed in 2011 between Rochester School of the Arts students DJ Ciccaglione, Mike Mayer, Matt Rapoza, and Jack Scardino.  The band members came together from different musical backgrounds, from classical music, classic rock, modern metal, and 90s grunge.  Their distinctive and original sound includes three key elements: a powerful guitar base, a strong yet intricate rhythm section, and the vocal melodies of a classically trained tenor.  Red Inc.'s varying musical influences lend themselves to a more progressive musical style in which the music can be highly dynamic and engaging.

In January 2012, Red Inc. seized first place at their debut performance at the East Rochester Battle of the Bands with overwhelming audience support.  The band has since moved onto Rochester’s music club scene, playing venues such as Water Street Music Hall, the Montage Music Hall, California Brew Haus, and on other stages including the 2013 Lilac Festival, 2013 Rochester Fringe Festival, and WBZA's Sunday Night Shakedown.  Their repertoire showcases their own infectious originals as well as explosive cover versions of favorites Tool, System of a Down, Foo Fighters, and Karnivool.  New listeners are always blown away by the band's lively stage presence fueled by their clear and authentic passion for their music.

Red Inc. has just released their first album, produced with local music club owner and Gold record-producer Bernard Matthews (Bernard Matthews Audio Productions).  The five-song eponymous EP took six months to record, and is a major landmark for the band that officially marks the beginning of their recording career.  The band has several more original songs in their pocket, and aims to continue building on their body of work, embracing their artistic growth, and ultimately reach a place where they can share their work with all music fans alike.
