Red Sun Revue

Formed in the summer of 2013, Red Sun Revue has been forging original
material since the beginning– blues-based rock & roll with the groove and vibe of the early
‘70s while delivered in a raw and soulful style that is uniquely their
own. They have also cut their teeth on some carefully
chosen covers that pay homage to their roots which include the Rolling
Stones, Humble Pie, Free, Elmore James, among others.

In 2015 they released their self-titled CD ep.  While the six tracks that gel cohesively to form a sold rock & roll record, each song stands on its own and will take the listener to a different place– from hip-shakin’ rock to a dirging blues and everywhere in between.  Recorded at Seattle’s Griffen Studios and mixed and mastered at Foundry Studios, the band combined vintage analog and digital recording processes to create a sound that both classic and fresh for the new millennium.

Since their first gig in November of 2013, they have played several gigs around the Seattle and Portland area at such venues as: Slim’s Last Chance, Triple Door Musicquarium, the Royal Room, Skylark Cafe, Tractor Tavern, Darryl’s Tavern, Stewart’s Place, 2 Bit Saloon, Tim's Tavern, High Dive, Lo-Fi Lounge, Chop Suey, the Mix, High Water Mark, the Spar, and others.  They are always looking for gig opportunities and new places to play as well as the opportunity to share the stage and support other great artists who are keeping live rock & roll and blues alive!
