Australian-based band Red Brigades create a provocative and intense body of sound something like what is felt in the music of Sonic Youth and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
On the strength of their debut EP "Follow The Raven" in 2007, Melbourne band Red Brigades as previously known as ‘There She Goes Again’, emerged as an enduring story packed full of irresistible promise.
An arrangements of atmospheric noise crowned by the vocal powers of Italian beauty Lisa Camillo’s captivating voice lead to their second EP, 2008, "Live at Billboards".
From an early age vocalist Lisa Camillo gravitated toward the arts and human rights issues, which highly influenced her soulful yet political lyrics which is expressed throughout the music.
Intense and energetic live shows ensures a impressive tour. After crossing the seas to play in Italy in 2006, followed by another successful tour in New Zealand in the early 2007, Red Brigades can guarantee an experimental yet structured noise, complemented with an intense and moving atmosphere. Expect to find yourself in a whirlwind of menace and exhilaration as they present an ongoing series of underground noise, layered by hypnotic melodies that will absorb you in.
Recently releasing their exhilarating new single "Dope Nation", it has been on airplay rotation on various radio stations in Australia such as, PBS and RRR, also capturing the attention of New York radio station Eden Music WMSC 90.3FM, which has had a successful response to listeners in New York.
With a world-wide tour booked in 2010 including countries such as US, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Spain, Germany, Italy, England, Belgium, France and Holland expect to find Red Brigades dominating the underground world of the alternative noise scene.
