ABOUT REDDI

Singer-songwriter Reddi combines soulful acoustic rock with indie pop appeal. Her songwriting stems from a personal history of journals and poetry as well as everyday inspiration found in relationships, in her morning cup of coffee and on the subway to and from her Brooklyn apartment. Defined by intelligent lyrics and melodic hooks, Reddi's music brings pop accessibility without sacrificing individuality. The result is songs that are both unapologetically universal and unique.

A Chicago native, the girl whose naturally red locks would later earn her the name Reddi grew up listening to an eclectic mix of music. Influence came from many directions - classical music in her ballet classes, Top 40 and MTV hits on TV and the radio, her parents' R&B and jazz, and hard rock in her hangout sessions with the garage band boys next door. All shaping the sound and sensibility the singer-songwriter would one day call her own.

Reddi's releases include the "Learn to Let Go" EP and the single "Perfect". Both releases were projects with long time collaborator and producer Neil Cabana (Dog and King Publishing) and are available on iTunes and online everywhere.

Reddi's music has been featured in several TV and commercial placements. Her song "Perfect" was prominently featured in a 2-minute montage sequence on the primetime network TV show Lipstick Jungle on NBC. The placement garnered Reddi new fans worldwide.

Reddi has performed her original music in such legendary New York City venues as the Bitter End, the Delancey, CBGB's Gallery and St. Nick's Pub. As an accomplished dancer and singer, Reddi has performed throughout the U.S. as well as in Europe, Australia and Brazil. She has also appeared in musicals (including hit shows Mamma Mia! and Rent) on Broadway, off-Broadway and in National Tours. Reddi received an Honorable Mention award for each of 7 songs submitted in the 14th Annual Billboard World Song Contest.

Reddi is currently working on various music projects, co-writing and recording new material for release and placements.
