"Redd is red hott!!!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Review by Yoda Blaze:

First off I wanted to say that Summer Days isn't your typical R&B summer jam. The first thing that came to my mind when listening to this track was, "radio hit!" No question, Redd has the skills, talent and originality to challenge any market. With a soulful sound that rivals Justin Timberlake, Redd delivers a funky neo-soul, R&B flavor to this track. D'Angelo fans would probably dig his style as well. Smooth, feel good, mental healing for the mind body and spirit. As far as vocal arrangements and production goes, I can simply say "superb." Can't wait to cop the album bro. Good job!

"A "Must Hear"!!!"

A Soundclick reviewer - I can't remember who right now - reviewed this track a while ago and gave it an eye catching ** MUST HEAR ** tag in the title. Welp, according to local custom, us reviewers tend not to do that too often because it devalues the point. So, generally, when one of us uses that device it is usually invoked with great seriousness to show how knocked out that reviewer was. It was that which caught my eye but knowing that I had the same track on my own review list, I refrained from reading the review or listening to the track until it's time had come.

I can be quite anal about all this palaver.

Of course a ** MUST HEAR ** track is going to be genre dependent, or at least in the ear of the particular reviewer. It has to be right? So, I'd say it was a mark of how good (read objective) the reviewer is to use the appelation properly. See to me a ** MUST HEAR ** track by definition must have wider appeal than the general milling crowd. Whoever that reviewer was, I salute their taste and discretion because Summer Days is exactly what I would expect on a track given this particular distinction. It's very, very commercial, highly polished and produced and so damn positive it'll make your teeth hurt. Even so, got to agree that this is a sure fire killer track that deserves as wide an attention as possible.

Top rate material delivered faultlessly, what more could you ask from a ** MUST HEAR **?

REDD SOUL

The artist... The vocalist... The songwriter...

Redd comes to us from the Los Angeles area, where he grew up the youngest of twelve children. With his mother an opera singer and his father and siblings all singing and playing instruments, Redd was saturated with music from a very early age.

Early influences included all genre's of music ranging from r&b, rap and reggae to classical, big band, rock and alternative... While growing older, Redd experienced a unique connection to classic r&b and old school soul music. His later influences stemmed from artists such as Stevie Wonder,Marvin Gaye, Prince, The Gap Band, Ohio Players, D'Angelo, and many more...

Redd has been filling his time recently doing session vocals for numerous artists and producers including The Underdogs (responsible for hits for artists such as Nsync, Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, Rubin Studdard, and many more!). Also, Redd does commercial and radio jingles for radio stations around the globe including Hot 92 Jams in Los Angeles, Radio One and Capital FM in England, NJOY radio in Germany, Hot 92 in New York, and many others!

Redd was formerly with the r&b-funk group Higher Ground, but now has embarked on a journey to create his own unique solo project.

THE ALBULM - NATURAL PROGRESSION

Redd's life experience has, like all, dealt him many different hands... Redd reflects on life, love and relationships in a way only he can... With a blend of classic r&b and neo-soul, Redd shares his experiences in a language that anyone can relate to ... This creativity is complimented by the unparalleled music production of Malcom "Mal G" Harvest.
