"RedGap Barry Nelson, Val Nelson, Joanne Earner and Alessandro Spadoni, performed covers like Crosby Stills Nash and Young's Helplessly Hoping and Randy Newman's Guilty. Joanne has a fantastic voice that makes you sit up and really listen and the harmonies during their set were wonderful. "

Bio

RedGap are a core songwriting team made up of 3 original members and are fronted by the amazing vocal talent of Jo Earner. She has been singing since very young and her voice leaves your spine tingling. Jo has been influenced by too many singers to mention but she loves Soul, R & B, Blues, country rock and latin. She is backed up by a team of 4 professional musicians. Barry Nelson is the male vocalist/backing vocalist in the band and plays acoustic guitar. He is a singer/songwriter in his own right and has been playing since he was 14. He was born in Toronto but left when 5. He has two band albums out and 2 solo albums and RedGap is his 5th project. He is also working on new rock & acoustic albums. Val Nelson is backing vocalist and has been playing Bass for 15 years although she learned to play on 6 string and also loves to play classical guitar. She has always wanted to be part of a harmony band and having performed in various rock line-ups, she is extremely happy with the sound and popularity of RedGap. Aaran Roberts is Session percussionist and John Clark from Kendal is Touring drummer. One minute their music can be upbeat and vibrant, then soul inspiring and spine tingling. The harmonies are reminiscent of Crosby Stills Nash and Young with an edge! and they fill the gap left by Fleetwood mac and are inspired also by Bonnie Raitt and Doobie Brothers. They use dynamics to the max! The band write their own material but also choose good covers which they then 'RedGap' to bring them to a new dimension. A popular, professional Band with attitude who love to tour and play the big stages. Not to be missed....
