Red Identity was born of Hip-Hop, inspiration and smoke. This unique duo emerged from the success of Hip-Hop mega group Bohemian Fifth. They were dissatisfied with the lack of Boom Bap Hip-Hop on the radio and in the industry. They missed the pounding drums, the heavy but subliminal message, and the undeniable head nod factor. So these artists decided to do something about it, and formed Red Identity. Curly Castro (Obsidian) & King Geoffree (Inglish) are on a mission to recruit artists and listeners born of the same fire. They want to start a rebellion and a renaissance simultaneously, with their music. On a recent cross-country performance in San Francisco, they were called the “True Essence of Hip-Hop” by some of their counterparts that had the impossible task of following them on stage. They have become a refreshing dose of Hard Knock Hip-Hop reality. They don’t floss, they don’t gangbang, and they don’t pimp …They Make Music.
