Bio

Redlight Drive has been making quite an impact on the pop/rock music scene since its inception. The band's new EP "Redlight Drive," produced by Gavin MacKillop (Goo Goo Dolls, Sugarcult, Toad the Wet Sprocket, MXPX) is a collection of driving pop/rock songs, heartfelt ballads, and emotionally charged anthems that have become signature to the band's sound. Redlight Drive, although unique, has drawn comparisons to bands like U2, The Killers, and Queen.

Through their own efforts of constant promotion and performance, the members of Redlight Drive have amassed a strong fan base, selling over 1500 copies of their prior “Wash Away” CD. The band’s reputation has also spread nationally as a result of their recent nationwide tour. Redlight Drive has played well over 200 shows including sold out shows at the Roxy in Hollywood, and has recently opened for Stevie Nicks and Vanessa Carlton at the Chronicle Pavilion in Concord, CA and Paul Rodgers in Cabazon, CA. The members of Redlight Drive have also shared the stage with other acts such as Fastball, Something Corporate, Sarah McLachlan, Coolio, Mandy Moore, and Jewel.

Redlight Drive has received rave reviews from both the national publication Music Connection and local California publication LA Music Scene. The Music Connection has listed Redlight Drive as one of the "HOT 100 UNSIGNED ACTS." Additionally, the band has entered and won multiple Battle of the Bands competitions as well as won the internet reality music contest "America's Biggest," and their songs have been featured numerous times as "Song of the Day" on George Martin's Garageband.Com website.

Redlight Drive’s dedication to its craft is revealed not only through its strong songs, but also through its live performances. It's rare to find a band that sounds as good live, if not better than its CD, but such is the case with Redlight Drive. The incredible musicianship and professionalism of the band brings forth a classic act that is destined for success.
