Based out of Washington D.C., Redline Addiction is a five piece alternative rock ensemble whose musical influences range from early 90’s grunge to contemporary alternative rock. Originally formed in 2005 by founding members Chris McVey, Neil Mutreja and Justin Liberti, Redline Addiction completed its current line-up in June 2007 with the addition of bassist Justin Ganderson and vocalist Rob Robinson. Shortly thereafter, Redline Addiction was signed to Counterpoint Records, LLC.
Rooted in a variety of musical genres, each individual member brings a unique balance of talent and style that gives Redline Addiction its familiar, yet cutting edge sound. This sound can be heard on the band’s first full length album, Goodbye Miss Dolly (Counterpoint Records LLC, 2008), which has been described as “full of energy” (“Redline Addiction, XXQs,” Penseyeview.com, April 11, 2008).
Redline Addiction continues to build on their local support by playing various venues in the D.C. greater metropolitan area. They have had the benefit of sharing the stage with many great local and national acts. Redline Addiction hopes to expand their influence regionally in 2008 by playing shows throughout the East Coast.
