Bio
Imagine, if you will: Your family is being tormented, treated as slaves. You work all day under grueling conditions, fed a subsistence diet, and forced to live in the gutter. One day a man comes and tells you God is going to set you free from this captivity. You take your family and join this man, who has many other families with him, as well. You march out of exile, only to find a great sea blocking your escape. All of a sudden, the man says a prayer and the waters of the sea rise up to provide a dry passage for you and your fellow refugees. As you walk through this amazing passage, imagine the sense of awe you would feel towards God Almighty, who displayed His love and His power in such a miraculous way!
Most of us are not being treated as slaves by a cruel ruler who believes us to be less than human. Instead we are enslaved by the time clock, our credit card bills, the telephone, the television, or whatever else we may have given ourselves to. When do we experience that sense of awe in the presence of our Creator? For me the answer is in music. A song can take me right out of the situation Im in, no matter how stressful or unpleasant, and give me a sense of peace and uplift my spirit. Our sincere hope is that this music will touch our listeners in a special way, and that they will find their own faith stories within the songs . . .and maybe find themselves a little bit closer to God and to each other as a result.
Our influences include, but are not limited to: John Denver, Third Day, Caedmon's Call, Mariachi Bands, Garth Brooks, Bebo Norman, and Billy Joel.
