"They have all the elements in place, and then some -- a bluesy jam here, some piercing guitar leads there, a touch of R&B funk here, and Johnson's plaintive vocals everywhere... Redstone is the real deal"--Rick DeYampert, Daytona Beach News Journal - Daytona Beach News Journal

"Five stars for REDSTONE. Chad Johnson rips, writes, ROCKS!...Memo to all those strummy, whimpy bands: go back to art school, run for your mommies. Redstone has Arrived."--Rusty Russell, Nashville Editor, Guitar Player Magazine - Guitar Player Magazine

An awesome band!! Like bar-b-qued Louisiana gator with a glass of vintage wine!! You must experience REDSTONE live!"--Kevin West, Program Director, 98 Rocks KTAL Shreveport - 98 Rocks KTAL

Bio

With their mixture of crunchypunk rock and roll and country blues tied around their love of playing long and loud, Redstone continues and expands the boundaries of Southern Rock. Founded by Guitarist and singer Chad Johnson and bassist Randy Prior, Redstone has matured into one of the truly distinctive voices in Rock and Roll today. Achieving both critical acclaim and developing a large catalog of music over the years Redstone has been fortunate enough to play with some of their idols and contemporaries including The Allman Brothers, North Mississippi Allstars, and Charlie Daniels. Johnson and Prior are joined by guitarist Chad Rowland, percussionist Joe Kelly, and drummer Greg Frye. Combined they create the Gumbo of soulful jamming and reckless momentum that make Redstone. With their third album produced by themselves and Kings of Leon front of house engineer Brent Rawlings, Redstone explores new musical areas once again while still paying homage to that which made them what they are.
