Bio
Hi, my name is Red Storm and I am an independent holy hip-hop artist. I have been performing holy hip-hop for about 9 years. The first five years I was in a group called "Bonded by Blood" with my cousin Chad Steven. My earliest influences would include the artist "T-Bone" and the group "G.R.I.T.S." Currently I feel most influenced by the individual artists that make up Cross Movement Records and Reach Records. My style is a mix of mid-west, southern, and east coast flavors.
I strive to write songs that are not just entertaining. Entertainment is secondary to my ministry. My main goal is to teach and not only teach the gospel message, but biblical truths from creation to consummation. My writing style is most influenced from studies I've done in creation, apologetics, theology, and biblical doctrine. My hope is that my music will take the listener on an enlightened journey through life as defined and inspired by God and His Word.
My mission statement:
"My mission as an independent holy hip-hop artist is to inject hope, love, and truth into a world filled with lies, hate, and despair. Hip-hop is a powerful tool and it continues to grow in popularity and we, as Christians, have an obligation to show others who have been influenced by the mainstream hip-hop industry that there is more to life than what they're being told by some of their favorite artists. My goal and desire is to write music that will help save souls from hell, not give them a head start."
