Bio
The band have been together for over 3 years and the sound just keeps evolving into uncharted territory. From the word go we've been trying to get that blend of guitar based music with big juicy beats and synth based music. The sound is all about mixing the energy of dance, the melody of rock and indie music, the soundscape of electronica and the pure groove from a hip hop beat. In some songs certain influences stand out more than others , but we always try and mix it up to make it sound fresh and interesting. At the end of the day though.. we love making songs people can sing along to!
Recently we've hit a new gear. We recently recorded some of our new songs in a professional studio and the difference is immediate! The songs have more life , quality and drag your ear in. We've always felt our live sound was so much bigger than what we had recorded, but now it sounds more like us playing for real. We've been playing live for about 2 years now in some of Belfasts best venues and in the legendary Gweedore bar in Derry. Our live set has changed dramatically over that time, and people are always really great and want to chat about our sound.
Influence wise, we love so many types of music. From Jay-z to The Killers, and classic bands like The Doors and Stone Roses and Nirvana to new sounds like Calvin Haris, Major Lazor and anything by Deadmau5. Theres so much good music out there at the moment but there really hasnt been a classic album made in years. So were aiming to cut a groove for ourselves and make an impact with a new soundscape.
