Touted as the Magic City and playground to the stars, Miami also claims home to savvy, sensational rapper and songwriter, Reezen. Born Kaream Fortune, Reezen is a product of the diverse, aggressive and fast-paced culture of South Florida, which helps define and distinguish him in today’s music industry. Dominating the ink scene in Miami as a talented tattoo artist for over 12 years, Reezen, who discovered his love for music at the tender age of nine, now inks his story through music as a dynamic performer and provocative lyricist.
Describing his sound as real hip-hop with a twist, Reezen’s music embodies an eclectic range of influence, fusing rock, funk and jazz with 90s-style focus on lyricism at its core. Making music that flows from his soul, Reezen showcases charisma, wit and charm while sharing his relatable narrative of pursuing his dreams and experiences of the everyday life, through his music.
Reezen is currently in the studio with Billboard chart-topping producer, Winston “BlackOut” Thomas, the man behind Nicki Minaj’s new smash single, “Roman Holiday,” and also Mims’ number one single, “This Is Why I’m Hot.” His musical artillery also houses a collaboration with Miami’s rap boss, Rick Ross.
Blazing into 2012, Reezen hits the pavement hard with three sizzling singles for the summer - the Blackout-produced pop/hip-hop fusion “Fades To Grey,” an ode to the ladies with “So Official,” and the seductive R&B-tinged “Ride.” His music will soon be available on all major digital outlets worldwide.
