Regan Mizuno

Hi there! I am a singer who writes songs, primarily country and country-rock music, but also pop, dance, blues, and movie scores. I play all the instruments on my recordings - live cuts are made of piano and guitar, and I use ProTools to add everything else - like fiddle, banjo, bass guitar and pedal steel. My goal is to become a successful recording artist and make a wonderful name for myself and the companies I represent. My musical influences are: Shania Twain, Bon Jovi, Bonnie Raitt, the Rolling Stones, Heart, the Guess Who, and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

I have enjoyed airplay of my original material and have conducted radio interviews.

I am from small-town Saskatchewan, Canada, where winters were spent ice-fishing on small lakes and summers in Waskesiu. I am from a grain farm and moved to the city to study Engineering. My degree has led me to become Samsonite's sole in-house patent agent.

I have been writing music since I was 13, and singing since I was five. It is my passion. I started playing the piano by ear at age 4 and since took lessons in piano and music theory up to University level. Acting and dancing experience is plentiful, as well as singing the National Anthem for our Major League Baseball team, the Colorado Rockies, the Denver Nuggets, the Colorado Rapids, the Denver Pioneers, and the Harlem Globetrotters. My biggest honor while singing the National Anthem was when a WWII veteran complimented my rendition. I also co-create and perform national radio imaging broadcasts as well as radio commercials. Favorite activities are singing at the piano, jamming with friends, writing songs, and going to the movies.

I have a large library of completed songs and the list continues to grow.
