Regenerates

Regenerates

BandHip HopEDM

Regenerates are a rap music group with a refreshing new, family-safe sound in the depressing age of Twitter rappers, and a world wide web full of the garbage that we are still obligated to label "music." Their music features things like: guitars, violins, cellos, and manipulated banjos.

Biography

Regenerates started as an idea. The idea that maybe there could be something more to this genre than meaningless songs about getting high and driving nice cars. While the name Regenerates came from the band's decision to change up their style (and approach to music completely,) it became a much bigger meaning than that. What if Regenerates were not only reforming themselves, but reforming rap music as a whole? That is their mission. Regenerates strive to make music that is completely true to their real lives. In their first year as a group, they performed with acts such as: K.Flay, Dan Deacon, and MGK. If it only took them a year to land a show playing for 1,200 people, what might they do with more time?
