Bio

Independent hip-hop artist Reggie Mills, a New Jersey native, and a
raw entity of Uniiqz Global, conveys a rare sound to the underground
world by his perverse rhymes and versatile beats. Not only do his words
have a magnetic flow but his personality is bold and creates an
innovative sound that is unforgettable.

Reggie’s passion for music developed early when his parents exposed
him and his siblings to a broad range of genres. His biggest
inspirations range from Beethoven, Mozart, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Bob
Marley, to Tupac, Jay-Z, Big L, Eminem, Lil Wayne and more. He grew up
in a time when Hip Hop crossed over to mainstream Pop Culture, this
would make an impact in his life when it was time for him to record in
legendary studios and perform with the hip hop pioneers responsible for
this revolution in music such as such as Cam’ron, Ice T and Kool G Rap.
It was at this point that Reggie realized the music industry could endow
him with a life that wouldn't comprise his beliefs; he began a journey
exposing his art to the world.

In 2008, Reggie began to write lyrics and recite them over beats
composed by local producers. After many applause by his friends and
family he became encouraged to turn his hobby into a business. He is now
in his 20’s and continues to make expressive music that embodies his
essence and current lifestyle while he maintains a noticeably inventive
presence in the music scene.

To date Reggie has written and recorded five (5) solo mixtape
projects Green Bay Smackers, The College Experience, The Invasion, One
Life Two Lanes, Peace Love Sex Drugs, and his debut EP Live to Prosper.
In 2013 he released a single off Peace Love Sex Drugs “Kush &
Patron” that charted in the top 500 on iTunes. His debut music video for
“Kush & Patron” was released by an independent label, Liberty Music
Group, the music video went viral with over 1.5 million views and
helped create a solid foundation for his work and a firm fan base.

Reggie's debut EP Live to Prosper is due to release in the beginning
of August. While he resides in NJ, he continues to remain omnipresent in
the music industry by his collaborations with prestigious producers such
as Bangladesh, Premier, and performances with artists that include
Cam’ron, Lloyd Banks, as well as West Coast legend Too $hort. He also
has toured the tri-state area with a 20-city "Bad Habits" tour presented
by Uniiqz Global (2012), and his current "Live to Prosper" tour
presented by Amalgam Digital (2014). This exposure in the past few years
has given Reggie the experience to build a strong presence in the
underground scene.
