Bio
Once upon a time, Reggie Watts was the Montana State High School Comedy Champ. Thats funny.
Since leaving Big Sky Country for Seattle more than a decade ago, Reggie's talents for performance have traveled far and wide. He wrote A Very Reggie Christmas, which had an extended run at Seattle's On the Boards. He composed scores for modern dance. And he played with a lot of bands.
But now Reggie is back to comedy. Bringing with him serious musical chops and superhuman ability with a sampler, he's been popping up on the London, New York and L.A. alternative comedy scenes. Reggie has recently been seen at Invite them Up at Rififi, Kristen Schaal and Kurt Braunohler's Hot Tub at the P.I.T., and Aziz Ansari's Crash Test at U.C.B.T.
In 2005, Reggie was accepted to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he won the first annual Oy! Oy! Award. In 2006 Reggie was chosen to perform in the Just for Laughs "New Faces" showcase and also appeared on the 'Alternative Show' at the fetival. Reggie returned to the Edinburgh Fringe Fest in 2006 with a show produced by Anthony King from the Upright Citizens Briagde Theater in New York and just won the 2006 Andy Kaufman Award in New York.
