The type of music I perform is contemporary jazz with a funk dance groove. My music is very energetic and as a performer I like to entertain the audience with my musical skills, my band's musical skills, and my ability to converse with the audience throughout my performance. An enjoyable experience!

Biography

I have been called one of the most exciting keyboard players on the music scene today. I bring so much energy to a performance musicians have been known to say," Don't get on the stage with him unless you're ready to give 110%." I have a bachelor's degree in Music Business and Composititon from the University of Memphis and my band members are well respected throughout the Chicago music community and beyond.
I have performed at major venues throughout Chicago such as: The Arie Crown Theater, The House of Blues, The Chicago Theater, The Regal Theater. and the UIC Pavilion and Navy Pier. I have been the opening act for these artists: Jeffery Osborne, The Average White Band, The Ohio Players, Issac Hayes & Roberta Flack, Black Ladysmith Mambazo, Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Damon Wayons & Sinbad. I have performed at different festivals in Chicago: The Ravinia Lawndale Fest, WNUA Smooth Jazz Thursdays, The Taste of Chicago. and many more.
I was honored to receive the 2008 Award for- Outstanding Achievement in Music-Jazz from the African American Arts Alliance of Chicago. I have 2 CD's the latest titled, "The Journey" and my debut, "Thank You" available online at cdbaby.com.
I was the musical director for Bernie Mac's tour and HBO Special. "Midnight Mac", providing music for George Duke & Shelia E., Chaka Khan, Brian Mcknight, Roy Ayers and many others. When you see my performance I'm sure to hit a musical bone in you somewhere and get you clapping your hands, moving your feet and dancing out of your seat!
