Bio

I am 32 years old hungarian female singer and a real fool of music. Started to sing very early, but only at age 16 I took it seriously when I met my first teacher the fantastic hungarian jazz diva: Zsuzsanna Kósa. Done many kinds of musical styles like pop, rock, country, or even house music. Many of cover bands, and many years singing in the background gave me the chance to experience a wide range of good music and finding my real taste. Between the songs I’ve been lucky to represent I always loved those ones for a smoother style of expressing myself. So at the end of the researches been made for getting on my way somehow I got back to the point of beginning: pure, smooth soulful music. I am in love with all kinds of smooth and soulful music...especially jazz...but come what may...if it gives me something to feel or think about. What I intend to achieve is to create a sensitive and pure music which feels good to play and listen...to use music for speaking instead. The topics I am running around in my lyrics are all very close to me…so let me have those songs of love tell you everyday stories and hoping to give you a mood for falling in love again and again with the one you have by your side. With kind regards: Regina Rostas.

My team:

Balazs Szendõfi: bassguitar - blessed with a very good kind of taste and talent to his instrument, a versatile player and also very colorful composer... his great knowledge and experience is spiced with a soft sense of humour in his music... mostly like his flexibility by arranging the same song to different formations... I've got 3 beautiful songs from him (Changing,Calm,Broken wing). Check out his own webpage to know more about his wonderful music: http://www.freeweb.hu/szendofibalazs/zenek.php

Norbert Kovács: drums, percussion - versatile player who's familiar in many styles of music, "rocks cool" in jazz or ethno...we are happy to have his smooth and dinamic kind of playing in our music

Fanni Sárközy - by the piano and background vocals - is highly multitalented musician, composer and singer, and most importantly is the fantastic singer and pianist of her own formation: the MIZAR, wich band was the winner of the Jazzy Songwriter Award in 2007. Their newest studio album just published: "Natural design". Please take a look at their homepage and enjoy a very good quality of harmonies and a colorfull music: www.mizarmusic.hu,

Peter Kolta - our sologuitarist - is a teacher and musician. Smooth stylish jazz guitar player who does his "work" excellent. Primarly he is a jazz musician but likes fusion and funky. He has got his diploma in 2007 as jazz guitarist but started to learn music as classical piano player. His own formation is the "Prime" where he plays his own compositions. A bit more info: perfect in english as his other profession is translating:-) webpage: http://www.myspace.com/koltapeter

We have a strong diretcion wich represents well the style I would like to go from now on…as I really do love the moods of good old jazz standards I decided to take this „hobby” seriously. There were song born with the really poor piano accompaniment of myself about ta few years ago and after a couple of transformations and winning the attention of the best hungarian jazz radio station: Jazzy 90.9 in 2007 I am constantly working on keeping this line.
According to the results, as winning the first price of Jazzy Songwriter Competition in 2008, our team decided to go for a hard work, as now we have the possibilities and the motivation to finish our album. The winner song was: Ha egy érzés útra kel / When a feeling starts to grow.
Our destination is now to have some international feedback regarding that the most of our lyrics are english hoping we meet the taste of the audience abroad too.
