Bio

REHAB first emerged on to the Atlanta Music Scene in the late 90s. After a few years of writing, producing, and performing in the local markets, REHAB landed a major record deal with Epic records in 1999, followed by a critically acclaimed first LP entitled “Southern Discomfort.” The album was released in 2000, which featured guest artists such as Cee-lo, Goodie Mob, and Cody Chestnutt. “Southern Discomfort” featured the Billboard top 20 rock hit “It Don’t Matter” (penned by Boone) and scanned over 130,000 units.
This success allowed the band to kickoff a 2-year tour supporting bands like Linkin Park, The Kotton Mouth Kings, and “The VANS Warped tour.” In 2002 REHAB started working on their sophomore record but, a series of creative, personal and financial disagreements lead to the break up of the band and their departure from Epic records.
Two years later Danny has assembled his new team and is back with the new & improved REHAB. With help from Mike Hartnett (guitar) a veteran on the Atlanta studio session scene (Pink, Bubba Sparxxx, & Cee-Lo), FOZ (guitar) from the Atlanta favorites Soybase & World Soul, Hano Leathers (bass) a member of Athens, GA legends Prozak and Herb and Skills, and Chris Hood (drums) a session drummer and a veteran of the Athens, GA music scene, played in Atomic Café and Aftermath.
Currently recording with producer /engineer extraordinaire Billy Hume (David Banner, Bone Crusher, Lil’ Jon and The East Side Boyz, and The Ying-Yang Twins). REHAB has gotten the attention of Radio, Industry A&R, as well as super producer Dallas Austin with their new music. With a healthy physical and mental attitude and addiction free, Boone claims that after all the ups and downs in his life he has discovered that his only addiction in life is music! REHAB is also out on tour doing what they do best rocking the f*cking heezee!!
