"REID - Genesis EP"

22 year old Irish producer REID just released a beautiful 5 track ep titled Genesis.

The Genesis EP’ is available for free on his Bandcamp & SoundCloud. Dont sleep on this people you will not be disappointed.

Enjoy - LYFSTYL Music

"ONE TO WATCH – REID"

Cork based producer REID is already a busy man, and from the looks of things he’s going to have a very eventful 2012. Already a member of Cork band Zombie Computer, and with the well received “Genesis” EP already under his belt he now has his second single “Diptera” available on Blah Blah Blah records.

But that’s not what I want to talk about! His latest tune “Ver” is available as part of the latest LYFSTYL compilation available today, and it’s a stormer. Based around a simple ambient sidechained beat, this draws you into a hook that brings to mind the XX in parts. He’s touring the country as part of the Lightbox tour starting this Saturday in the Pavilion, Cork, and he’s playing the Airbound weekender in London, April 6th. There’s more to come from REID about which I cannot say, so keep an ear out! - Little Green

"REID - Diptera / Fall"

Blah Blah Blah Records presents the second single from the hotly tipped Irish producer REID.

Since releasing his debut single ‘Genesis’ on BBB Records REID has been snapped up by a prominent management agency and his new single Diptera was recently used by US filmmakers Second Base Films for their documentary ‘From The Inside Out’ which also features tracks by Chase & Status, Nero and Digitalism.

With his second release the young producer expands upon the ethereal qualities of Genesis/Forrest and delivers two tracks that expertly weave washes of drama and crunching synth lines into an intoxicating mix of driving beats and percussion.

Lead track Diptera draws you in with a hauntingly distant bell chime, swirling synths and a delicately looping piano, whilst a punchy house beat drives the building layers towards a tension shattering lead hook. Diptera is a beautifully crafted mix of contemplation and raw adrenalin where as the second track ‘Fall’ is more of an understated poignant affair, with a dubstep type rhythm flowing beneath a mix of pads, percussion and drums.

REID is once again demonstrating finesse beyond his years, making him one to watch in 2012 and beyond. - Blah Blah Blah

"Introducing: REID"

As a music blogger, there are two ways in which I try to find fresh, new music. One way requires me doing my own research by scouring the web and numerous other blogs for tracks that I might like; and the other involves me monitoring my favorite artists and learning what up and coming musicians they are currently listening to on soundcloud or have featured on a recent mix. Although I tend to rely on the former method when looking for music, the other way is usually much easier and tends to lead to better results. Take Sun Glitters for example. I’ve been relying on the Luxembourg producer for months to point me towards some of the best young, talent the “post-dubstep” genre has to offer at the moment.

One artist in particular that Sun Glitters turned me on to was little known, Irish producer Eoghan Reid, who produces under the stage-name “REID.” After listening to his sensational track “Diptera,” which was featured on Sun Glitters’ mixtape “It’s Cold Outside,” I quickly became infatuated with REID’s unrestrained, bass-heavy sound. Since then, REID has continued to produce music, recently coming out with a two-song EP titled “Genesis” and a handful of remixes including this wonderful edit of Kool Thing‘s single “Light Games.” Although the feel of the track is slightly darker than I prefer, the rhythms created by the perfectly timed vocal loops and pulsating bass are so appealing that I can’t help but dance to it even though the atmosphere created by the tracks erie lyrics are enough to make me cry. So if you’re not quite the sentimental or emotional type, expect REID’s “tear-step” melodies to keep you vibing all the way through! - UpsideSounds

"New Irish Sounds: Reid"

The name: Reid. Just Reid.

The deal: yet another young Irishman making potent, swoonworthy electronica, 22-year-old Corkman Eoghan Reid launched his solo project a little quicker than most, playing his first ever live show at Electric Picnic last September. Since then, he’s released a debut EP, Genesis, and rustled up some really lovely remixes of tracks by Twin Sister, Owensie and Come On Live Long.

The sound: Woozy, atmospheric and heavy on the fizz and crackle.

This remix of Come On Live Long‘s ‘White Horses’ is my favourite Reid number yet, available for free download here.

There’s also Genesis, the free mini-album which was released on Blah Blah Blah Records last November. Here’s the video for the title track, featuring footage from Dimensions Of Dialogue, a stop motion animation created by Czech artist Jan Švankmajer.

He says: “MPD32 is making my live set so much more fun… Can’t wait to test it out at the Ones To Watch 2012 in Whelans.” – from Twitter

I say: If the live show’s half as good as the recorded material, Ireland’s got another truly brilliant beatmaker on her hands.

For lovers of: Toby Kaar, Solar Bears, Paul Kalkbrenner

In a word: cryptic

What now? Get an earful of Reid here and an eyeful of Reid tonight in Whelan’s as part of the Ones To Watch festival, or tomorrow in the Twisted Pepper along with, among others, SertOne, Bantum and Monto. - Hot Press Magazine

"Sound of 2012"

Another artist with only a handful of tracks under his belt, young Irish beatmaker REID conjures up majestically elegant ambient soundscapes. With the Four Tet influence fairly plain to hear, it’s refreshing that REID relies less on sampled vocals and instead specializes in drawing the listener in to his own visualised world. Having released a double A side through Blah Blah Blah Records earlier this year, the next few months are looking especially bright for REID. - Crack In The Road

"REID - Diptera // Review (9/10)"

REID is the brainchild of Zombie Computer member Eoghan Reid. Eoghan is a rising electronic producer and is starting to create massive waves in the music industry – you just have to listen to everything this wizard has recorded to understand why!

The video for ‘Diptera’ was created by Synesthesiae Films and is one of the most surreal videos you will ever watch. The footage has been taken from an old film by Jan Svankmajer called ‘The Apartment’ and suits ever part of this track perfectly – you would almost think this footage was filmed solely for this track. It would be impossible for us to try and break down the meaning behind the footage, as it’s completely bonkers! All we know is that once you have watched this video you will go straight out and try and find a copy of this film – if you are into your surrealism and art house films especially. To be brutally honest watching this and listening to the track has done something to us that we can’t explain – if this was created to boggle minds, it most certainly has done that. Absolutely fantastic piece of art – bravo!

Heavy beats and eerie synths are the main aspect to this power house of a dance track – it doesn’t change much but it really doesn’t need to – that’s the beauty of dance music. Look out for the blips and beeps because we genuinely thought they were going to come out of the speakers and attack us – a genuine masterpiece! - Boost The Music

"REID - Genesis // Review (9/10)"

‘Genesis’ is a simplistic, relaxing and ethereal soundscape that will tickle every electronic bone in your body. We can’t get enough of Eoghan Reids compositions in the office and this release on BlahBlahBlah Records just shows us the man can do no wrong. The textures the 22 year old creates in this track would warm the blood of the coldest man - minimalistic drums, simple piano lines and arpeggiated synths are enough to have you hooked. The only thing we will say is that it would be extremely interesting to hear this track with a female vocal (we can just imagine Beth Gibbon’s gorgeous ‘20 a day’ voice all over this). If REID continues to make tracks like this we could see him composing film scores in Hollywood. Stick this on before bed and you will have the best night’s sleep ever. Absolute bliss! - Boost The Music

"Genesis"

Whenever I see shit in my dropbox from Beatport, I get a little scared. Then I realize that I mostly post chilled out sex beats, underground garage-psych, and 90s hip hop. I guess people figure I am just random enough that it’s worth a shot. Well Reid my friend, let me just say thanks for taking a chance on a rando this time.

Reid is an experimental electronic project out of Cork, Ireland, a place that has become a pocket of ingenuity when it comes to emerging electronic with acts like Moths, Sacred Animals and Solar Bears all residing there.

Take a deep dive into this two track rhythmic love fest, that takes a particularly interesting approach to tempo. So many of the ambient electronic producers out there create these heavy, slow to build beats that are like ink bleeding onto paper, (ala Clams Casino, Sun Glitters, Holy Other, etc). With Reid he takes those same heavy, droned qualities I love and gives them a shot of adrenaline. It seems Reid has carved out a niche vibe not unlike one of my favorite electronic artists Stay+, but really molded it to go in a different direction that is all his own. Needless to say, I’m a fan. - Gluttony Is The New Black

"New: REID – Genesis / Forrest"

New: REID – Genesis / Forrest

When I visited Ireland in September for Hard Working Class Heroes Music Festival, I was struck by just how vibrant the electronic scene was. With CitR favourites Solar Bears making a name for themselves throughout Europe, and beat maestro Toby Kaar destined to go that way, Cork’s REID may well be the next to follow suit. These two new tracks from the young producer show just how diverse his sound can be, whilst remaining grounded amongst atmospheric surroundings.

A Side Genesis is a gloriously soulful number, gradually building layers throughout it’s five minute run time, morphing beautifully to showcase the various elements REID has at his disposal. There’s touches of Four Tet mixed in with instrumental moments of Blackbird Blackbird, with B-side Forrest being more of a grower, adopting a playful approach to creation. Minimal dubstep elements combine with a solid, repetitive hook to lull the listener into a bliss inducing trance, simply wonderful. Check out both tracks below, out now on Blah Blah Blah Records. - Crack In The Road

"Preview: Twin Sister - Kimmi In A Rice Field (REID Remix)"

Producer Reid, by way of Cork, Ireland remixed Twin Sister’s best song “Kimmi In A Rice Field” from their debut album In Heaven. The remix has been turning heads with it’s hard hitting beat and precise vocal layering. Check out more of Reid’s music over at Soundcloud. - Rebel

"REID x Twin Sister"

Twin Sister’s “Kimmi In A Rice Field” would have caused the usual echo chamber effect in the music blog circuit because of its horrific, eerie music video alone. 22 year-old, Irish producer Eoghan Reid creates a whole new seemingly supernatural experience for the song, and this time, no oddball visualizations are needed to suck you in. His remix quietly overcomes you like a dark cloud spreading across the sky. Before you can take the time to notice, you are already completely enveloped by these layers of sounds. Do not expect this one to pass delicately though. Once the percussion strikes like two metal bars crashing into one another, you are hooked. - Quit Mumbling

"REID"

The city of Brighton is a great hub for the culture of music in the UK. Not only is it the home of The Recommender, but in an urban space where everything and everyone is within walking distance, we find ourselves surrounded by promoters, labels, writers, venues, musicians and of course other music bloggers. One of those music blogs is closely associated with us here at Recommender Towers, the excellent Blah Blah Blah. They’ve been delivering top-drawer dance and electronic music from the edges of those genres for many years now. We recently met up with its co-founder, Jonny, to discuss a new string to his already packed bow – Blah Blah Blah Records.

There are many natural steps that a music blogger can take into the music industry, be it as a PR agent, a booking agent, a band’s manager, a promoter, a paid DJ, or even the risky business of starting a label. All of these require good taste and a magic ability to judge artists and their potential. Brighton’s ‘going out bible’, The Source Magazine, recently commented on Blah Blah Blah’s “four-year rise to the top of Brighton’s clubland” during a piece in which they adorned the magazine’s cover. Jonny and his team are already well known in the music industry, as resident DJs in both of Brighton’s best established clubs, as well as promoting shows that included the likes of Major Lazer, Caribou and Joy Orbison on their bill. Looking at it, a record label was the obvious next step.

First to be signed up on this exciting new label is the excellent Eoghan Reid, a 22 year old electronic music producer from Cork, Ireland. It’s a smart choice for Blah Blah Blah as they’ve selected someone who is carving out dance music that’s tidy, mature and well-crafted. Reid doesn’t write straight up bangers with tacky hooks and mass-market gloss, rather he is a designer, an architect, a sculptor of the synthetic - this is electronic music made for grown ups. That’s not to say his creations are without an obvious style as all the tunes we’ve had the privilege to hear to date have a distinctive sound. You can tell a ‘Reid’ before you know it’s him. Now that’s a trick not just anybody can pull off, especially in electronic music that’s without vocals.

Jonny remarked at the depth of the songs Reid has on offer, “He can do noise, but he can do delicate too“, which is absolutely right, when you hear the range on show with the four or five tunes available. He has a wide variety of tricks he can play, that either aim for your feet, or get into your head. It will be interesting to see how he translates it all into a live set, which is something you may have caught during a handful of recent Autumn dates in Ireland, supporting the likes of Com Truise and Solar Bears. Performing live shouldn’t phase him either, as Reid is also in a relatively new band, called Zombie Computer. They jam out a form of electro rock that’s heavy on hooks and fizz, proving he has a broad set of skills and the canny knack of penning diverse, captivating songs. Something’s telling us that Reid is one of those people who just has music pouring out of him.

The debut single is Genesis and is due for release on November 28th. It’s a beautiful and halcyonic piece of work, which begins with that most thoughtful of sounds, the sample of rain falling and the onset of turbulent weather, akin to The Doors Riders On The Storm. Weather seems like the obvious theme as the layers of the song arrive in raindrop synths and splashed cymbals, in a patient, sedimentary collection of tiers. It’s as smooth as silt, but by the end of it’s five minutes your left affected and drenched in it’s atmosphere. It’s as mesmeric as watching a storm arrive, but just as foreboding. You can hear it and the b-side, Forrest, below. Further releases are due next February, including the second single, Diptera, which is as uneasy as a John Carpenter soundtrack, pulsing in and out like the beam from a distant lighthouse. The shift in focus from suffocating riff to spacious synths shows just how masterful the designer is. These first few tracks are the perfect introduction to the new label, and as if Blah Blah Blah weren’t already brilliantly successful in a multitude of areas, it now seems as if they’re pretty damn great as talent spotters too. "Straight From The Teet - Reid"

I think Animal Collective could stand to take some music lessons, and I already have the perfect instructor lined up for them: REID. In typical chillwave fashion, there's a circle of minimal information between this artists Bandcamp and Facebook. I go to the Ireland native's FB and it tells me to go Bandcamp. On his Bandcamp, there's a link to his useless Facebook. Anyways, check out his latest Genesis EP on Bandcamp. It's a collection of great chill-out, lay in bed all day, maybe take a shower, music. Enjoy.

(P.S. Check the non-sensical video for "Diptera". It features a man trying to eat soup with a perforated spoon.) - AudioMilk

"REID - Genesis EP"

Not a clever acronym or loaded with hidden meaning, this project takes the surname of it's create, Eoghan, rather than dealing in the occult and double dutch of his peers. Moniker aside, this is inventive electronic house by an artist just starting to find his feet, lacking a little bit of a cutting edge but simmering over fine regardless. He's at his best when mirroring Gold Panda's Marriage in 'Diptera', taking a similar sounding sample and turning it something akin to a siren. - Lost Lost Lost

"Free Music: REID – ‘Genesis EP’"

REID is Eoghan Reid, a 22-year-old producer from Cork who, a few weeks back, released his debut EP for free download on Bandcamp.

Genesis EP is an exciting blend of atmospheric electronica. The EP is an enthralling listen but it’s strength lies in how tranquil and laid back tracks sit so comfortably with those filled with boisterous energy, al a the title track and the thumping ‘Diptera’. A clever, assured and engrossing debut record.

With fellow Corkman Toby Kaar becoming one rising stars of the burgeoning Irish electronica scene in 2011 and now REID, you would be forgiven for wondering if there is something in the water down there. - BarryGruff

"Introducing: REID (Interview)"

Music is becoming more and more accessible these days. With the wonder of Moore’s law pushing technology further exponentially. A convincingly professional sounding album can be made for next to nothing. Not only is the vastness of studio equipment a thing of the past, but so are the pricy synths that were once common place can now be sampled and emulated.

With these ever progressing trends, a new genre of sorts comes forth, bedroom electronica. A more populist take producing if you will. Anyone can make music these days (with the require talent of course) regardless of their situation, and young irish producers are definitely taking advantage of this. I sat down to chat to Eoghan Reid of REID about his music, the state of Irish music, and chillwave.

There’s not a lot about you online. A bit of an enigma. The name REID, in a very bold all caps, comes across as a tad intimidating. So let’s try and break that down. What is REID?

REID, to put it simply is my second name (Eoghan Reid). All my life I’ve been called Reid by my friends, it just kinda made sense to me to call this project the name that I am known by. I was having a discussion with a mate of mine about band names and was saying I didn’t know what to call this new project I had started, I then heard someone call me (REID!!) from another room and it clicked. Just kinda took it from there.

I guess a word you could use to describe yourself as Chillwave, what do you think about chillwave as a genre? A fabrication or a genuine musical movement? How do you describe the music you make?

I think Chillwave is just another word used to help categorize music beyond your simple everyday genres. It’s a good thing because if I just described my music as Electronic it just wouldn’t give someone enough information on what I do. When I describe my music to people I just say it’s blissed out Electronica that you could dance to, I think that is as simple as I can get it without confusing someone with these words like Glo-Fi.

Over the past 6 months or so there seems to be this surge of young Irish producers. MOTHS, SertOne and Monto just to name a handful. What do you think is driving people to laptops rather than more traditional means of making music?

The talent in Ireland is phenomenal at the moment, I’m a big fan of all three of those producers and fellow cork-man Toby Kaar, I even had the pleasure of playing with SertOne and Toby not even a month ago with my band Zombie Computer. I think young aspiring musicians are driving towards electronic music nowadays is simply, because they can. People just didn’t have laptops back 10 years ago to mess around on so they just did what they could with guitars, drums and whatever was available to them.

Writing instrumental music do you try and convey some sort of greater meaning or do you just try and make something that’s pleasing to the ear?

I’m so bad with lyrics, I probably couldn’t recite the lyrics to any of my favorite songs. I usually find myself focused on the music of a song or I’ll been drawn in by the melody of a vocal, I just never pick up on the lyrical content. I try and convey emotions in my music, I find with instrumental music it can provoke different feelings as you are listening to it. I like to give songs a tense, dark, moody vibe which shows hints of happiness when the choruses drop, It’s hard to explain but I can hear it in my head when I’m writing.

So what albums would you have in rotation at the moment?

At the moment I’m listening to Interpol – Turn On The Bright Lights, The National – High Violet, The Naked And Famous – Passive Me Aggressive You, Fuck Buttons - Tarot Sport and Health – Disco 2.

Where can people catch up with your music and what you do?

I just released my debut - Genesis EP last week and it is available as a free download on my Bandcamp & SoundCloud. I’m hoping to get another few tracks done in the next few months so I have enough material to start gigging and I hope to release another EP before the end of the year. Keep an eye on my Facebook & twitter to keep up with what I’m at. - Drop-D

"Rise Up & Seek Infamy"

This week’s prize for the most interesting sounds to arrive in my inbox goes to young Irish producer REID.

A heady mixture of tempos, jagged sounds, rhythmic directions and gentle melodies punctuate the five tracks on his recently finished Genesis EP which is available via for free bandcamp and soundcloud, with the latter criminally lacking in those inane comments that people love to leave.

“GREAT SOUNDS”

It’s worth engulfing yourself in the full release but as a taster why not indulge in my favourite track “Diptera” which effortlessly swerves between calm and chaos. - Slutty Fringe 2.0

"Reid – Milking The Sweet Spot"

A new week begin, but old puzzles remain. Just what do you call your one-man house music project?

Of course, no-one wants to use their full name – that’s all a bit too Sven Väth – but then why disassociate yourself fully from the final product?

Such conundrums faced Eoghan Reid, who took inspiration from compatriots Bono, Dana and (The) Edge and decided that actually, one name was more than enough.

So ‘Reid’ it was, and Reid it is, producing silky-smooth, thunderously soft house music. House music is at its most devastatingly effective when kept almost absurdly simple, and, in his echo-drenched thumper Forrest, Reid has discovered this secret sweet spot.

And after discovering the secret, Reid has milked it appropriately, working every delay-and-drop angle possible. This of course, is the second secret of house music – rinse and repeat.

Forrest rolls and rumbles, exactly as it ought to, and its listeners will feel the urge to raise their hands towards imaginary lasers pinging off imaginary mirrorballs, just as they ought to. The cycle is complete. Great stuff. - Slash The Seats (ArtRocker)

"REID: Genesis EP"

The debut EP from 22-year-old Cork producer Eoghan Reid is rather appropriately named, because it’s, well, biblical. His brand of atmospheric electronica is made doubly impressive by the fact that he’s remembered to pack his songs full of hooks. There aren’t any vocals to be found anywhere; the music does the talking, and it’s on the title track and ‘The Bridge’ - which, at just over a minute long, leaves the listener wanting more, and with good reason - that it makes the biggest impression. The 5-song EP, a confident and assured debut - if I didn’t know better I’d have thought Reid had been around a lot longer! - is available to stream below, and can be downloaded for free. Take it from me: this is definitely worth your time. - Music Fan's Mic

"Introducing: REID"

With Toby Kaar tearing up the electronic scene in Ireland this year, here's a fellow Corkonian vying for his throne. REID is 22 year old producer Eoghan Reid who has just released his Genesis EP - a five track creation packed with an array of cleverly structured, smashing beats. It's a consistently good piece of work but the thumping 'Diptera' is an undoubted highlight, along with the Moths-esque title track and the mesmeric peaks and troughs of 'Forrest'. Definitely one to watch. - Stop the Lights

Latest Irish electronic producer to hit the block alongside Moths and Toby Kaar is Eoghan Reid, a 22 year old Corkman with a brilliantly instinctive feel for finely tuned electronic pulses and deeply effective hooks. His “Genesis EP” will wow you with its sense of scale and ambition. Plays Alliance: Independent Artists for Africa benefit show at Dublin’s Whelan’s on September 25. - The Irish Times

"REID - "Ver""

REID has reworked two songs he debuted from his repertoire and will release them on Blah Blah Blah on February 20. But ‘Ver’ is the first proper, 100 per cent new track we’ve heard from the Cork artist/producer since that fantastic debut EP last summer. It’s going to feature as part of the Dreams compilation that the LYFSTYL music blog is putting out on Valentine’s Day. It’s more streamlined than what’s we’ve heard thus far from REID. Perfectly paced, the interlude arrives at the right time, draws you in, lifts you up and then you’re carried along for the last two minutes. Check out REID’s tour dates, including seven dates around Ireland with a number of other electronica artists as part of the Lightbox tour, here. - The Point Of Everything

"Introducing: Cork electronic producer REID"

Check out some rather lovely ambient-infused electronic productions from Cork’s Eoghan Reid (also a member of Zombie Computer) courtesy of his Genesis EP and the video for the title track. It reminds me a bit of MOTHS but a bit more hard-nosed. - Nialler9

"REID – Genesis / Forrest single"

Back in July, I wrote about Cork producer REID. The 22 year-old is part of a new breed of emerging electronic Irish producers (MOTHS, Simon Bird, Eomac, Toby Kaar to name several) who are creating some serious solo tunes. UK music blog Blah Blah Blah are smitten and have chosen two of REID’s tracks to kickoff the releases on their new label.

‘Genesis’ and ‘Forrest’ are the finest examples of REID’s emotive and rich electronic productions. Listen below, buy the tracks via iTunes and Download a REID mix for Blah Blah Blah. - Nialler9

"REID – ‘Diptera’ / ‘Fall’"

Things have been progressing nicely for Cork’s REID since 2012 hit. He’s got himself on a management agency and ‘Diptera’, one of the tracks released on his second release for the upcoming Blah Blah Blah label was used in a documentary From The Inside Out for US filmmakers Second Base Films. The doc also features tunes from Chase & Status, Nero and Digitalism.

‘Diptera’ / ‘Fall’ get a digital release on February 20th. The former is a quiet/loud compressed synth line workout while the latter is more fluid and rolling with bells and big beats. - Nialler9

"New Music: REID"

This is some truly neat stuff by REID who is a member of an electronic band but I’m not gonna say which one as it doesn’t actually matter. These songs sound off for themselves and are free to download. Electronica is rapidly becoming my preferred arena to explore new Irish music, I’m just hearing so much good stuff and each week there’s a new release or artist to get immersed in. But sometimes you have to play the long game where it’s concerned and let it gather pace, or reach full steam, or unfold, or burgeon…REID’s work is straight in to the good stuff, no hanging around waiting for favourable atmospheric conditions. Luckily then, it’s engrossing from the outset and as a result, winds up far too soon. There’s a boisterous energy akin to Fuck Buttons when they reach full-flow, along with bold, chunky beats and also some snatches of softness that relay Four Tet’s layered melodies, and so much more. Try it out for size and if it fits, wear it for the weekend. - Harmless Noise

"Introducing: REID"

REID is Eoghan Reid, a 22-year-old producer from Cork who, only yesterday, released his debut EP for free download on Bandcamp. The Genesis EP clocks in at five songs and just under 18 minutes in length. And for every single second of every single track, nothing goes to waste and the listener is never anything less than enthralled. The opening track, ‘Forrest’, plays around a repetitive loud/quiet dynamic that is exhilarating. The title track, meanwhile, is a mid-tempo, laid back affair that plays into the highlight of Genesis, ‘Diptera’. A low-key intro builds into a sonic landscape that is again built around a Pixiesesque loud/quiet dynamic, just without the shouting of a demented madman. It’s tempting to compare REID to Cork’s other electronica star of 2011, Toby Kaar. Both make lush instrumental music and both are so early into their career, it is exciting to think where they can take things from here. - The Point Of Everything
