New EP! The Noise In My Chest. This eight song collection of dreamy acoustic serenades is just a prelude for more to come. Featuring Reid alone on guitar, the single Starting To Learn is a perfect example of how powerful this young man's vocal and song writing abilities really are. Raw and dynamic, each track is an honest expression of this fine artists musical journey. While Reid’s influences range from Neil Finn to Willie Nelson to Jeff Buckley, the beautiful sounds on this EP are completely his own. Listen here:

Reid Jamieson is an old fashioned heartbreaker with a knack for writing instantly classic songs, and delivering them with a rare vocal intensity. His second solo album showcases Reid's choirboy ways, therapeutic lyrics and country-flavoured pop hooks. The Unavoidable Truth was produced by Josh Finlayson (Gord Downie, Skydiggers) and features the stellar talents of some of Canada's brightest stars: Sarah Harmer, Bob Egan (Blue Rodeo, Wilco), Dave Clark (Woodchoppers, Rheostatics), Peter Elkas, Mia Sheard and more. Piano, banjo, accordion, pedal steel and heavenly harmonies make for a full bodied departure from Reid's critically acclaimed solo acoustic EP The Noise In My Chest. The truth is, once you've let this blue eyed troubadour into your record collection he'll be sure to work hard at making himself at home in your heart.

Reid was recently recorded live in concert with the highly popular CBC radio show The Vinyl Cafe with Stuart McLean. Paste Magazine, those American taste makers who appear weekly on CNN, chose to profile Reid in their February/March issue in their 4 To Watch 4 section, as well as adding them to their sampler CD along side of Bright Eyes, Kathleen Edwards and others. 2005 will see Reid hard at work writing his next album and making his way to Europe. Dont' miss your opportunity to catch this compelling performer live.
