Bio
reijo formed in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 2011, is a rock band that blends a nostalgic 80's rock guitar tones and ambient delays with a Madchester and UK style, adding thoughtful, politically charged lyrics to create a new modern rock sound. Formed by the life-long songwriting partners of James (vox) and Storm (guitars, vox) and the superb talents of Patrick Handlovsky (drums) and Quay Evano (bass). reijo has produced two independent full length releases, When the World Starts Again (2012) and Tomorrowland (2015), and are an ambitious group who believe music is a part of world change.
