"Rekon Rolls Over Ronald McDonald House"

The children and families of the Ronald McDonald House in New York City were entertained by two rappers known as “Rekon” aka “Reezunable Konshence”. Rekon of Infamilia Music also performed one of their latest songs “A Better Day”. Following the concert, they donated a collection of DVDs to the residence, signed their photographs and gave copies of their CDs and stickers to each child. Though many of the children residing there must often contend with the rigors of cancer treatment at nearby hospitals, they, along with their parents, left the performance smiling a little brighter.

Later, many of the parents thanked the two 15 years-old rappers for taking the time to think of them. “Young Bugz” later remarked, “We definitely want to come back here again soon”. Kemizt added, “Next time, we want to spend more time interacting with the children before we perform.

The New York City Ronald McDonald House provides relatively inexpensive housing and additional services to approximately 84 families with children stricken with various forms of cancers. Rekon was all too happy to help make their day.

Rekon is Joe Hye aka “Young Bugz” and Jordan X. Hartley aka “Kemizt”. Both 15 years old boys hail from the Wyandanch and North Babylon areas of Long Island. They are artists on the Infamilia Music record label, and expect to release their first CD on May 10.

Bio

These two 15-year old rappers hail from the same North Babylon/Wyandanch area as Rakim & Soul 4 Real. Their style is influenced by such great rappers as Rakim, Nas, Eminen, DMX and Joe Budden. Yet, they are determined to set their own standard. Their lyrics will distinguish them from all the others. They are truly wordsmiths. Remember their name.
