One of the Bay Area's distinguished bands, Relic, put on their first show since guitarist John's battle with cancer at The Time Out in Concord on Friday. Specializing in medieval prog, the band has been interviewed by MTV and featured on MTV's "Battle for Ozzfest" as well. During Relic’s down time, John wrote all new material that has an inspirational and spiritual twist woven into the lyrics. Relic is the first band interviewed by DJ Hendu on POWERcast, Powerslave.com's recently launched podcasting service. Listen to the interview and Relic's music here .
