Relics

When Relics first came together, there was no telling where their sound would go. What began as an acoustic blues sound quickly developed into a “universal” genre which now resonates with people from all walks of life.

The band started in late 2015 when Texas-native singer/songwriter Nadia Lopez met lead guitarist Gian DiLiberto with a collection of half-written songs. After easily completing three songs with their acoustic guitars in less than a week, the two soon discovered that they created a foundation for something bigger.

Not long after, the duo came across a drummer’s ad on Craigslist. Wylie Sanchez had just moved from the state of Connecticut and joined the band, contributing the beat to their acoustic sound. After persistently attending open mics and creating music videos to post on social media, they soon began to play shows in the live music capital of the world. However, the band was not complete until finding bassist, James Pagliuco. By adding his structured yet funky bass lines, the band finally found their full sound and "Relics" vibe.

Currently, the band is working on their three-track EP which will be released on Spotify early 2017. They continue to bring the energy on-stage in the Austin, TX music scene, but look to expand to greater audiences across the nation.
