Bio
The Long Tall Shadows was formally established in 2019, though its genesis may have been much earlier. Made up of songwriter, vocalist and guitarist Vinicius Mueller and Jazz Drummer Nate Robertson, Mueller combines his early musical influences in west coast psychedelic rock and Brazilian MPB with a 90's noise rock flair. Paired with Nate's polyphonic rhythms, this duo creates hauntingly beautiful and challenging work. Mueller's vocals are gritty and sincere capturing his complex experience as a dual citizen of Brazil and Canada. Their songs flirt with a noise aesthetic without losing enjoyability in the process, bringing over 20+ years of songwriting experience to play. Their first EP, "At The End Of Oz" will be released soon.
