Made from equal parts Rock, Metal and Funk; Remaining Anonymous from Longview, Texas has been slaying faces in the East Texas area since 2009. By some high encounter at a tripped out pizza joint that sold 50 cent beers (not the rapper, the actual currency); the three optimistic musicians came together through a local open mic night. Under the influences of Tool, Primus, King Crimson, Faith no more, and the love of metal; they have created a unique style and blend of music. With East Texas being prominently country music driven; it is without saying that it is hard for a metal/rock band in East Texas to make any name for themselves, but with the funked out mind blowing bass lines by Hoffer, the soaring guitar and vocals by Kyle, and the ear shattering drums by Alex; Remaining Anonymous has proven that even in the depths of a Podunk place like Longview, Texas real music can rise from the shadows of ignorance.
