Remedy

Remedy is a band from Burlington, Ontario. The band consists of five members. Rob Fowlie plays the piano, Taylor Likavec plays the bass, Mike Messore plays the guitar, Luke Paron plays drums and performs vocally, and Scott Samuel plays the guitar and performs vocally. Remedy came together in August 2007, and has been writing and preforming music ever since. The band's first recording, the Gingerale Tree demo, is a prime example of Remedy's artistic capabilities and potential because it combines a progressive rock sound with softer melodies to create a unique fusion of music. The band's recording of 2008, The Other One demo, displays the group's astonishing musical maturation and evolution throughout a short period of months. Shortly afterward, the band delved directly back into the creative process as they wrote and recorded their most complex and unique demo to date, Raisin' Up the Price. This newest EP adequately exhibits the band's continually expanding potential and repertoire and superfluously exemplifies the group's refusal to remain within any and all parameters laid before them. Remedy hopes to enlighten listeners with their inspirations, aspirations and their general love for the world of music. Enjoy.
