Emerging from the ice and sun of Denver, remembermay has hit the music scene with a vengeance. Creating momentum from their live shows and thunderous fan base, remembermay has held no punches. Packing venues such as The Walnut Room and Herman’s Hideaway, remembermay has been getting the attention of many other prominent Denver venues, local festivals, and radio stations. remembermay songs have played on 99.5 The Mountain, the Clear Creek Station KYGT FM, and the G.I.R.L. internet radio station. Since their inception the young band has found their niche, each member having the same goals and passion, determined to begin from the ground up. remembermay merges the sounds of alternative, folk, and funk to tell the stories of life. The powerful drum beats, driving bass lines, and most importantly, lyrics connect with the audience. Their musical style reveals influences from Janis Joplin, Counting Crows, Muse, and Ben Harper. Their first EP roark, released January 2007, has helped the band ignite music industry interest while creating a voice for Denver.
