Bio
Renae Bernard is a singer songwriter from Detroit Michigan. Started writing and singing at the age of 16 in Motown. Watched my brothers play in bands in the basement, and learned guitar from a Mel Bay Book. I then moved to NYC and Ahmet Ertegun put me in Atlantic Studios to cut a demo. My songwriting has improved greatly since those days. Jim Boyer, Phil Ramones engineer put me in the studio also. I then moved to California after living in NYC for 8 years and was put into the studio there.
I then moved back to Detroit and put together a group RB5'12" produced a major video with dancers and performed at the Fox Theatre. Then Star Search came calling and couldn't afford the ticket to Florida. Put together an acoustic duo and opened up for Eddie Money, Spirit and the Eagles. Currently living in Nasville writing songs.
