The Other Side Of Earth [2004]:

Now, in 2004 the band has just released their third album titled *The Other Side Of Earth*, which has sold 1300 units in the first two weeks of it*s release. *This band has a remarkable gift for soaring clarion melodies. An almost anthem-like sound dressed up in pop rock music done with skill* * Bao Le-Huu, Orlando City Beat.

R [2002]

The bands sophomore release in early 2002 titled "R," was a four song EP that led them in new directions. "I feel it has more sun to shine with, whereas "Kings" had more rain," says Kurtis. "It was the bridge we needed to build to get from where we were to where we wanted to be. The song *dream fast, dream now* was licensed to Budweiser True Music for use in *NASCAR*s Dale Earnhart* video.

She Walked With Kings [2000]

In 2000, r e n a t a released there debut album, "she walked with kings," a 10 song catalog of artistic poetry and melancholy emotions dressed up in light and dark colors of guitar, harmonica, and piano. Consistent touring throughout northeast clubs, colleges, and in-store performances resulted in over 1800 copies sold within the first 12 months of its release. In mid 2000 Renata's "60" off the album was featured on MTV's "Undressed" and in October of 2000, Colombia/Tristar licensed music for use on the WB series "Dawson's Creek."

Bio

The one thing I enjoy more than a great verse is an even better chorus. I love a four minute song that makes you want to sing it back for twenty.* - Kurtis

Hailing from Enfield, Connecticut, RENATA is a story of five best friends who met in high school and began on a journey the way they imagined it. *The ultimate goal of this journey has always been to write great songs," says singer Kurtis. *We love pop music, but even more, we love the challenge of creating our own sound of integrity. A sound where honesty connects the interlude to that third gigantic chorus. A song with hooks, that aren*t just surrounded by intros, and bridges, but by good days and bad days.*

RENATA has been awarded "Best Original Rock Band" in the Hartford Advocate's 2001 Readers Poll and appeared on CBS for winning the "Best Pop Rock Band," and "Best Male Vocalist" in the Hartford Advocate's 2002 Reader's Poll. In 2003 they were also awarded *Best Pop Rock Band,* and *Best Male Vocalist*.

Connecticut's two largest commercial radio stations, 96.5 TIC-FM and Kiss 95.7 FM have showed them much support. They have made several appearances on the "Gary Craig Morning Show," as well as giving their music daytime rotation. "Their music has an emotion that is indescribable", says Gary Craig. The stations have put them on numerous large scale events including Avril Lavigne, Ashlee Simpson, and Sky Sweetman. The band has also been on the road with Dana Glover, The Stills, Gary Jules, Pat McGee Band, and many other national recording artists. WMRQ is also a huge fan of the music, "If you like the CD then wait till you check these guys out live!" says radio 104's Cousin Chris, who has included r e n a t a in over 7 radio station sponsored events and shows.

"We are perfectionists," says Mike. "We are never completely satisfied, and when we are, it doesn't last for long."
