Renee Liska

Hello there music lovers!! 

Really what would we do without music?!  By listening and engaging in music we all create our own soundtracks to our absolutely unique and exciting lives. Renee Liska has spent the last few years journeying through the U.S. and Canada (citizen to both!) to write and perform her original songs. Filled with beautiful images and quirky notions, her warm sweet but sultry voice will weave in to the reflective and quirky places of your very own musical journey. 

Born and raised in Southern California, Renee began singing in her crib and continued on throughout her childhood performing with the group Sunshine Generation in Senior Citizen homes, malls, and anywhere else that appreciated cute kids in bright orange and yellow outfits singing and dancing.   But it really all took off when she touched the guitar for the very first time, which believe it or not, wasn't until her senior year of high school in her very first guitar class. Renee's passion for music is obvious to anyone who has ever heard her sing. "Music is affirmation that we are alive and connected; the people, the mistakes, the triumphs,the pain, the joy, the lost, and the found", she says. 

After finishing her studies in Composition and Voice at Selkirk College in British Columbia, Canada, Renee is currently busy recording in Southern California. She can also be seen performing in and around Los Angeles.  She writes songs for her own repertoire as well as for other people.
