Always There was released in 2009 as a result of hard work and diligence. Renee a native of Upper Marlboro, MD teamed up with Story Book Music, Inc. to fulfill a long time dream. The project was recorded at Suite7L, a humble project studio located in the Bronx, NY. Although recorded humbly, sonically Always There matches up with albums major studios have released.

Bio

A native of New York City, Renee grew up in Gospel Temple Church of America, under the leadership of Bishop Samuel Canion. The church is now known as The New Gospel Temple Church of God In Christ. Bishop Rodney S. Canion is now the presiding Pastor.

Renee began singing at the tender age of five. Her singing ministry has allowed her to perform on the same stage along side some of Gospel’s well-known artists such as Dr. Bobby Jones, Beverly Crawford, Mary Mary, The Christianaires, and Della Reese “Touched by an Angel” at the Hollywood Gospel Insider Music Awards, Los Angeles, CA.

During her 10-year stay in Atlanta, Georgia, she worked with Minister Reggie Gay and the Reggie Gay Singers (Gospel Radio Personality for KISS 104.1 FM); and Reverend Kenneth Paden, who was the Director, Georgia Mass Choir, and pianist in the hit movie “The Preacher’s Wife”, and sang with a portion of the Georgia Mass Choir. Renee also sang and planned concerts and other services at Government Ceremonies for our Nation’s veterans.

Renee has been a resident of Baltimore, Maryland for the past 10 years, and she continues to expand her horizons and her audience. She has worked with Minister Regi McClurkin and Praise Agenda (First Cousin to Gospel Recording Artist Donnie McClurkin). The group has performed at concerts, performances and guest appearances in and around Baltimore, as well as in various cities across the United States. The group recorded three CD projects and was nominated for Best New Independent Artist/Group at the Gospel Insider Music Awards (Los Angeles, CA).

Renee continues to grow in her ministry forging into completely new territory. She thanks God for enabling her to bring songs of inspiration to the down hearted, and she trusts and believes that God will make all things possible for her. She wants listeners to always take the words they hear her sing and find them in the Word of God”.
