Bio

RBB have  established a big live reputation as a headline act, and have played packed-out shows at venues around the UK and Europe.  In the last year, they have supported acts including Busta Rhymes, De La Soul, Grandmaster Flash, Public Enemy, Jamie Cullum, The Cat Empire, Quantic, Craig Charles and many more.

A hit with festival crowds across Europe, the band have played at festivals including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Sea Sessions Ireland, Tramlines, JazzOpen Stuttgart, Black Sea Jazz Festival and Soundwave Croatia.

The band released their debut album, ‘RBB: Rhymes, Beats & Brass’ in August 2014, which saw them develop their hard-edged brass sound, and followed it up with their 2015 ‘RBB: Rhymes, Beats & Brass (Remixed), featuring collaborations with artists such as Hugo Kant, Colman Brothers and Tall Black Guy.  In October 2015, they did a live session for BBC6 Music’s Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show, and had airplay from BBC6 Music, BBC Radio 2 and Radio 1.

They are currently booking tour dates to launch their second studio album, and their live session at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios, which see them further develop their gritty mix of rhymes, beats and brass, combining live brass and drums with scratch DJ and MC.
