"Country Music Club of Switzerland"

Award winning Training Rider, Songwriter, Band leader, and a member of the Texas Music Association, since 1974 with countless events appeared - Rene (pronounced: Reen) Sims. We can hardly believe that Rene is more than 30 years in the business and plays, nevertheless, only since her 16-th year, the guitar. The lady looks substantially younger still her present career successful. "Music comes from the heart and the soul", it brings Rene easiest of all. Recently her album "It's About Time", songs from deep down, all as to the life taken, without klischees not to put under Country, Blues or other catagories, but simply and movingly Texas Music. Her love to the Lonestar State becomes clear over and over again, "Frosty Mornin' in Texas" is such a proof; just as "Trick-A-Lin of Rain". But Rene not always was in Texas. She followed a Love to Louisiana, stayed there, received Success with riding academy in DeRidder. The song "Louisiana" tells the story. Nevertheless, she has moved back again in her beloved state where she is often invited by numerous songwriters, events, and festivals.

"Bruno Michel CD Review"

Entsprechend kommt ihr Album It’s About Time daher.
