In a music industry specializing in manufactured stars, this up and coming artist needless to say has the real ingredient for success. Influenced by the old school rap and its love for originality, this ingenious rapper surely lives up to the alias "R.E.P" (which is short for Represent and Representin' Extraordinary Poetry) which he earned by representing the masses from a creative stand point. Rhyming from the age of 11, R.E.P out of the heart of Crown Heights, Brooklyn has developed a unique sound for himself. With a smooth yet charismatic voice and untamed energy, R.E.P brings a unique flavor to a track. The radio friendly "Do My Thing" represents only a piece of his creative opus.

Being musically inclined and knowing how to flip styles brought this young rapper the attention of listeners from various regions off collaborations such as "Boot Up", and “Like This”. Building his foundation and getting his three-lettered name known hasn't been easy but he continues to work diligently to achieve and increase his peak of success.

Just blossoming to the scene the young artist has no choice but to focus on the future. Daily writing will always help an artist build their catalog, but live performances have allowed R.E.P to take his music to the public, with a music video under his belt, a drop on 105.1 The Beat Jamz (FL), and a DVD titled "BRING IT BACC" expected spring of 2006. REP is featured in Don Diva’s DVD Magazine “D3” on the March 06’issue, and will be in the next issue of WWS Magazine, and Streets MOS Magazine. With a serious buzz and following that has extended far beyond the North East, REP is undoubtedly a contender for newcomer of the year rocking the college circuit, mixtapes, DVD interviews, as well as features on numerous dynamic collaborations. Some of his upcoming shows for Summer 06' are: Sizzla and Friends Concert (Trinidad, W.I.), Greekfest (Jones Beach, NY) and the 3rd Annual Street Conference (Harlem, NY). REP will also be participating in the 4 Kings Productions Unsigned Hype Tour 06’, and Blackline Entertainment Group’s New Jack Kingz Mixtape Promo Tour.
