Bio

With a loyal fan base that is rapidly spreading throughout the college circuit and a debut album that is receiving rave reviews,  Repertoire has already achieved the acclaim most unsigned bands spend years chasing.  The band has been booked by UW LaCrosse, UW Madison, UW Milwaukee, Marquette University, Carroll College, and MSOE. They have headlined at some of the biggest venues in the state including Shank Hall, The Rave, Luther's Blues, and most recently, Bastille Days 2005.

The diversity of sounds and styles spread over the CD's eleven tracks not only showcases the depth of the band's talent base, but further explains the band's name.

While paying homage to diverse  20th Century Masters such as Hendrix, Marley, and McCartney, Repertoire is not afraid to explore diverse musical horizons and push one step beyond.  While the musicians work within the general framework of classic rock history, unique time signatures, multi-layered horn parts, and soul-touching harmonies set this band apart.

As such, Repertoire is not only hard to categorize, but appealing to diverse audiences.  Within the course of one song that is seemingly smooth, a bubbling undercurrent of mounting energy erupts, catapulting us into "another crazy night."  Escape from depression is confronted with clapping hands and a flute that seems to be soaring with monarchs.  Songs are unpredictable without being incongruent and, as such, create compelling sounds that appeal to a wide variety of musical tastes.  Whether you prefer your music smooth or hard-driving, you will be pleased.  If meaningful lyrics are important, they are there.  Those who relish haunting melodies and stirring harmonies will find much to harvest.  Most significantly, the mix is so subtle that you will not realize you've left your most favored genre until after you're hooked.

Quite simply, the music of Repertoire defies written explanation.  You must hear it to understand.

Nominated by WAMI for Best Rock Group 2005!!!
