Bio

Hailing from Melbourne Australia, Reptiles, who will be making their first appearance at New York's CMJ Music Marathon this year, have chosen to remain fiercely independent to this point in their young career.

Cutting their craft in the seedy underbelly of Melbourne's nightclub and bar scene, their frenetic live show has drawn praise from audiences around the country. They have released two domestic EPs in 'Smell My Skin' and 'Come Get Me,' both to critical acclaim, and have toured extensively throughout Australia.

In 2012 they recorded the debut long play 'Ciao-A-Bunga', which found release in the United States via a partnership with The Musebox. In conjunction with the record, Reptiles undertook their first international tour with a series of US dates that included supporting young Australian star Kirin J Callinan in Los Angeles, as well as a string of shows in the New York City with bands such as Matador's The Young.

The band are currently showcasing their new material in lead up to the their second LP
