Restless Ribbon

We're a young and original pop-rock band. Our music draws influence from rock n' roll, punk rock, soul, 90s alternative and a little bit of everything else. Our influences are many. We grew up on Green Day and love bands like Maroon 5, John Mayer, Cute is What We Aim For and Forever the Sickest Kids. We think we're very different from other bands because our music skips the boundaries of genre. We play music that will appeal to ALL people of ALL ages and walks of life. We began only a year ago, in that time we won 2nd place in a newspaper sponsored - city wide battle of the bands in April 2009. after playing dozens of local shows and building some great friends and fans we earned the "2009 Newcomer of the Year" award in our local arts magazine "Urban Tulsa". Now we're traveling back and forth between Dallas, Texas recording a 5 song EP with Record producer Geoff Rockwell. We aim to build a career upon playing music that people love.
