"‘Found’— CD of Christian praise music is released"

A southern Indiana liturgical ensemble, Resurrexit, has released “Found,” a CD of Christian praise music, according to Timothy Dickel, ensemble member and executive director at Mater Dei High School in Evansville.

The group includes Dickel, vocals/guitar, Jeremy Aldridge, vocals, Michelle Reitman, vocals, Tina Kern, vocals/keys, Chris Baumgart, bass, Craig Schutz, guitar, and Jon Kern, drumset.

They recently performed these songs at St. Anthony Church in Evansville as part of the CD’s release: “Amazing Grace/My Chains Are Gone,” “Agnus Dei,” “Consuming Fire,” and “Glorified.”

During the evening, both Benedictine Sister Teresa Gunter, youth minister at St. Anthony, and Father Jay Davidson, pastor, offered reflections.

For additional information on Resurrexit, contact Dickel at or 812-625-0711 or Tina Kern at 812-430-1594.

Found - CD released in the fall of 2011

Resurrexit has been playing music together since 2008. Although all members have diverse careers in education, engineering, sales, health care, and fine arts, they come together in praise and worship through contemporary Christian music. The members are all accomplished musicians that particuarly focus on the signature sound of the group: vocal harmonies. They enjoy leading worship throughout the southwestern Indiana area at various churches and youth rallies. Their first CD, "Found," was released in the fall of 2011. The group has been influenced by many of the great Christian artists, including Matt Maher, Chris Tomlin, Bebe Norman, Matt Redman, and David Crowder.
